Allentown, PA (Future150) -- The Lehigh Valley is one of the most talent-rich areas in the state of Pennsylvania when it comes to high school basketball. However, because of its location, nestled near the New Jersey state line between Philadelphia and New York City, its talent is often overshadowed by the major cities of the northeast.

One of the most talented freshman set to begin his high school career this season in the Allentown area is William Allen High School guard Isiah "Zay" Jennings.

The 5'10" combo guard is coming off of a very successful summer and fall, one which gained him national notoriety. At the recent 2012 Pangos All-East Frosh/Soph Camp, he made the "Top 30 Cream of the Crop Game," which featured national names such as Isaiah Briscoe, Horace Spencer, Paul Thomas, Jerron Love, and T.J. Gibbs.

He impressed the staff in attendance with not only his instincts but with his long-range shooting as well.

He will be joining the historic Canaries program, which has produced several division one basketball players over the past decade.

While the dedicated youngster puts countless hours into honing his craft in the gym, he is also focused in the classroom.

Zay attends Lehigh Valley Academy during the school day, where he takes part in their International Baccalaureate Organization program in order to fully prepare himself for the next level. Because Lehigh Valley Academy doesn't have extracurricular activies, he is allowed to suit up for William Allen. Currently, he carries at 3.75 GPA at the school.

Already, he is receiving interest from several Patriot League, Atlantic 10, Ivy League, and Colonial League Schools.

As his body and game continue to expand, look for more and more schools to take the trip to eastern Pennsylvania to check out the rising point guard prospect.
