Winston-Salem, NC (Future150) -- 2017 PF Zaire Williams of Winston-Salem Prep (NC) is having a big Junior year and has plenty of new schools showing interest in him. Williams is a big bodied power forward that runs the floor extremely well and never gives anything short of 110% effort. His rebounding abilities and ability to finish through contact are also major strengths to his game. For these reasons he already has four offers, and has a handful of schools keeping tabs on him.
"I hold offers from Charleston, Old Dominion, Radford, and Tulsa," Williams said. "While The Citadel, Georgia Southern, Mississippi State, Missouri State, Navy, Virginia Tech, Western Carolina, UNC-Charlotte, and UNC-Wilmington have all been showing interest lately."
Williams has already seen one school start to stick out to him and is planning on taking some visits in the near future.
"Georgia Southern has definitely been showing the most interest so far, they have came to watch me at multiple games and practices," Williams said. "They really stick out to me because two graduates of Winston-Salem Prep are playing there."
"I plan on taking visits to Georgia Southern, UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Wilmington, and Virginia Tech soon, whenever we get a break (from school)."
Williams is certainly attracting plenty of coaches with his tough style of play and his tremendous size and strength that should translate well to the next level.
"When the coaches talk with me, they tell me they like how hard and physical I am. They also talk favor my high IQ, my ability to stretch the floor, and how I play with a passion down low."
