Madison, WI (Future150) -- Wisconsin put all their eggs in one basket, and then Michigan stole that basket. Brian Flinn analyzed what Michigan is getting.
In one of the wildest recruitments in modern midwestern history, Xavier Simpson took a fantastic official visit to Wisconsin last weekend. After returning (Sunday) he declared an announcement was imminent (Wednesday).
All signs pointed to Wisconsin. Though the time between Sunday and Wednesday was just enough to Michigan to slide in the backdoor and leave with the jewels.
It might be a good day to take a long lunch, if you work in the Wisconsin Basketball office. Yikes.
Once the dust settles Wisconsin will still need one player from the 2016 class, a class they really have invested very deeply.
