Athens, GA (Future150) -- After securing a commitment last week from Northeast star Jalen Adams of Cushing Academy (MA), the #52 prospect in the 2015 class, the Connecticut Huskies backcourt of the future took a hit on Monday.
Athens Christian (GA) shooting guard Will Jackson decided to decommit from the program, and will instead play his college ball for the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.
The first commitment in the 2015 class for Mark Fox and the Bulldogs, the #99 prospect in the country holds significance for the program not only as a nationally ranked player, but a local guard who wants to be a Bulldog.
While his stock has been slipping over the past several months, there is still no doubt that he can become a very successful player in the SEC.
Expect the Bulldogs to try to capitalize on their local recruiting success in the future with Jackson now in the fold.
