Lakeland, FL (Future150) -- 2015 Kathleen (FL) point guard Corey Sanders jolted the recruiting world a bit on Thursday morning, pledging his commitment to Eddie Jordan & Rutgers.
He picked the Scarlet Knights over scholarship offers from Central Florida, DePaul, South Florida & Tennessee.
A 2013 Future150 Camp All-American, we have been tracking the Showtime Ballers explosive athlete since his freshman year, continually improving since then.
This past summer at both the NBA Top 100 Camp as well as the Reebok Breakout Classic, he showed the ability to be an impressive set-up man. We already knew he could create and score for himself, but getting his teammates involved was something we were hoping to see this AAU season, and he delivered.
Currently ranked #41 in the country in the 2015 class, he is a valuable addition for Rutgers, who will be making a tough transition to the B1G Conference this season.
