San Diego, CA (Future150) -- In the loaded class of 2016, one name that has emerged this high school season has been Foothills Christian (CA) small forward T.J. Leaf.
The 6-foot-9 wing has skills well beyond his years, showing the ability to play a stretch four position as well as the small forward spot. With shooting touch extending to three-point land and grittiness and finesse on the low block to create mismatches, his stock has steadily risen over the past four months.
His offers reflect his improvement. Arizona, Indiana, UCLA, Gonzaga, San Diego State, New Mexico, Colorado, Cal, Portland & San Diego have each extended offers.
Playing with Compton Magic on the AAU circuit this coming spring and summer, his national profile will only rise.
Carrying a 3.5 GPA in the classroom, T.J. not only has the skills to perform at a high level on the court at the next level, but in the classroom as well. After averaging over 26 points and 11 rebounds per game this season, what could possibly be an encore for the talented forward? We'll find out this AAU season.
