Los Angeles, CA (Future150) -- While he is still young, Tyler Dorsey is still drawing tons of attention on the West Coast. He is arguably the most popular prospect among college coaches, and his recruitment is beginning to take shape.
Dorsey, a 6-foot-4 point guard, is hearing from countless amounts of schools from all over the country.
"I'm hearing from all of the Pac-12, Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina, Notre Dame, they are from all over. I get a lot of questionnaires," he laughed.
Dorsey says no schools are really sticking out right now, but the motives of one particular school has impressed him throughout the years.
"Arizona offered me in the 8th grade. It was my first offer, and to get it that early, it sticks out the most," the rising sophomore explained.
He also holds offers from Oregon State and USC.
With so many schools pursuing him early, Dorsey isn't begging for other schools to enter the picture. However, he would like to hear from one school in particular.
"I would like to hear from Kentucky. I am very interested in them. I like the point guard history there with Coach [John] Calipari."
Coincidentally, Dorsey also compares himself to a former Kentucky star.
"I feel like I am a triple-double guy, just like Rajon Rondo. He can do everything his team needs. I want to be like that."
