Wichita, KS (Future150) -- With Quentin Snider coming off the board to Illinois Thursday evening and Tyler Ulis expected to commit to Kentucky on Friday, Michigan State lost its top two point guard targets for the 2014 class.

Now, attention moves to the Midwest with Wichita (Kan.) Sunrise Christian point guard Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn.

The 5-foot-9 speedster is expected to be on campus at Michigan State this weekend for an official visit, as Tom Izzo and his staff are moving quickly after losing out to other players in the process.

"Yes, [Tum will visit Michigan State this weekend]," Sunrise coach Kyle Lindsted confirmed to Future150.com. "It happened very quickly."

Following his visit to East Lansing, Nairn will visit Indiana next week; he has already visited Minnesota and Oklahoma.

Will Izzo be able to make up ground on Nairn?

Prior to his visits, the point guard said he was looking for a close relationship with the coaching staff:

“I need a great relationship with the coach and his staff. Not only do I want to become a better basketball player, but I want to become a better man,” Nairn recently said. “Style of play will also be big. I want to push the ball up the court. I can’t be in a system that walks the ball up the court a lot.”

There is no set time for a decision, but after Tum Tum takes all of his visits, there could be a decision shortly thereafter.
