Greensboro, NC (Future150) -- Maximus (Max) Farthing can say he’s done things that most people haven't done.  And he has done it twice.

Playing for the CP3 All-Stars, Max has accumulated two AAU National championship trophies.

CP3 All-Stars won both 6th and 7th grade nationals and Max played an important role in both.  The 6-foot-5 forward has a fundamental offensive skill set that allows him to shoot jump shots with consistency.  This makes him difficult for opposing bigs to contain.

Though his mid-range game is where he feels more comfortable, he has good footwork and post moves as well.  With his skill level and shot efficiency, Max will likely be able to play either forward position at a high level.  It depends on how much he grows.

“Right now I’m just working on my ball handling and explosiveness to expand my game and become an all-around better player," said Farthing.

When he adds those attributes to his game the sky is the limit.

For Holly Grove Middle (NC) he simply  dominated.  Each game Max averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and five blocks.  With stats like that it is no surprise that he was the team MVP.  Not only did he dominate on the court he dominated in the classroom as well with a 3.8 GPA.

Farthing lists dream schools like Duke, NC State, Virginia and Kentucky.  It is going to take both the hard work on the court and in the classroom, which Max has no problem with.

This summer we will see if Max and his CP3 All-Stars team can continue the run and do the unthinkable by bringing all three middle school AAU National championship trophies to North Carolina.  Two down and one to go.
