New York, NY (Future150) -- Future150 Alums on Full Display

Three alums will be showcased this weekend, and two look like they will end up as high-major players. Lincoln's Donald Cannon-Flores (NY Camp) and Mt. Zion's Isaiah Whaley (National Camp) have both been fielding calls from power five programs and look like some of the best available players in the Northeast. Meanwhile, Belive Prep point guard Darnell Rogers (Charlotte Camp) is doing a post-grad year following his decommitment from George Washington. All three have favorable matchups this weekend and will get plenty of opportunity to shine.

The Future is Now

For as much upperclassmen talent there will be in attendence, perhaps the most loaded class of the event will actually be 2020. Nationally ranked guards RJ Davis (#76), Jordan Toles (#16) , John Wilson (#63), and Posh Alexander (#30) will all play significant roles for their team this weekend. Throw in Green Tech's Jorr Norgaisse, and this group is as talented as any other class this weekend.

It's Time to Breakout

One of the most exciting parts of the high school season is that it allows players to showcase their games in a totally different setting and really get a chance to be featured. With big AAU teams, that doesn't happen for everyone; so these events allow players to really boost their recruitment should they play well. The prime candidate for this weekend is 2018 South Kent guard Anthony Nelson. A New York native, Nelson will be motivated to show how much he has improved in recent months. He had a strong National Prep Showcase last month and will look to build on that momentum.

2018 Archbishop Stepanic wing Alan Griffin has been on fire this fall and the start of HS season, averaging a double-double so far. The 6-foot-6 Chicago native plays incredibly hard and there is very little he can't do.

Finally, Green Tech's Jair Curry could put himself on the map with a big performance against Lincoln. The 6-foot-4 guard had a solid showing at HoopGroup's Future All-American camp and will get the opportunity to show what he can do against a pair of potential high-major guards in Cannon-Flores and Wilson.

With nine games on tap this weekend, and a considerable amount of talent in the gym, coaches would be wise to stop in to Gauchos this weekend.
