Lewisville, NC (Future150) -- Class of 2018 CG Tripp Greene has been known around the Lewisville, North Carolina area for quite some time now being one of Forsyth Country Day School's best and most intriguing prospects.

Having led his squad to a current 13-8 record, despite his team having just an eight man roster is a pretty big accomplishment garnering wins over Charlotte Chrisitan, Wake Christian Academy, and Trinity Christian among others. While averaging 20 PPG, 5 RPG, and 5 APG, Greene feels proud of his team and himself so far this season.

"As a team we are doing pretty well considering we only have eight players and sometimes only six or seven due to injuries," Greene told Future150 regarding his team this season. "Personally I think I'm having a pretty good year by being a true leader, and having to make smart plays because I'm one of the older guys now. I was also able to complete a personal goal by scoring my 1000th point earlier this season, which was very exciting."

For anyone who knows Greene or has seen him play knows that he can do two things. The guy can score the ball at an extremely efficient rate and isn't afraid of taking over the leader role on and off the court.

Last time Future150 talked with Greene he was seeing interest from nearly ten schools including Davidson, Old Dominion, and Virginia. Since then more colleges have been coming in contact and are starting to realize his threat to be a true, efficient combo guard at the next level with his improved court vision and passing abilities.

"It's been very steady," Greene said regarding his recruitment. "Lots of schools have shown interest and are coming to watch me play. I've taken several visits, most recently to Radford, and I've got two visits scheduled for Liberty in the near future, which I'm looking forward to."

New schools that have been added to Greene's interest list includes Wofford, Yale, Samford, and Southern Utah among others. Even though he may not pick up any offers this high school season, his interest list is starting to pile up and he could see these turn into offers once AAU season comes around.

Make sure you keep an eye on him as he runs with Team United on the Nike EYBL circuit, as his recruitment is slowly coming to a boiling point.

Stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track Greene's junior season and recruitment process.
