Hampton, VA (Future150) -- When you play on a team like Spiece Indy Heat it is easy to get overlooked. With high profile guys like Indiana commit Trey Lyles and a top three point guard like Jaquan Lyle on the roster it is easy to see how Trevon Blueitt has been in the background a bit.
That all changed this weekend at Boo Williams though, as Blueitt helped to lead his team to victory over the previously undefeated Houston Hoops squad that features fellow shooting guard Keith Frazier. In a game where Lyle seemed to struggle, Blueitt stepped up with 14 first half points, scoring both at the rim and behind the arc. It was more of the same story in the second half scoring 8 points and finishing with 5 rebounds.
While Blueitt might not be a big name among the general recruiting fans just yet, he has already attracted attention from plenty of college coaches. Indiana, Xavier, Butler, Notre Dame, Purdue, Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, and Michigan State. The talented sophomore guard said that IU and Butler are recruiting him the hardest at this point.
When asked if he had a dream school who has yet to contact him there was no hesitation "Duke," he said. If he continues to play like he did this weekend it's only a matter of time before the Blue Devils come calling.
