Lowell, MA (Future150) --
On Friday the top 75 players in New England gathered at Umass-Lowell’s campus for the 7th annual Elite 75 showcase. Considered to be one of the top events of the year in New England, Adam Finklestein of ESPN and The New England Recruiting Report was once again to put together a truly impressive group of kids. Here are a few that stood out in the skills training and games:

Jared Terrell, 2014 SG, Xpressions: If you haven’t seen Terrell play yet it should be on the top of your to-do list this summer. While the 6-foot-3 guard has always possessed skill he made a point to prove that he belongs in the conversation for best guard in New England regardless of class. Time and time again he attacked the rim with authority, often finishing with thunderous dunks. Not only that, but he got his teammates involved as well and hit shots from deep. When he has his game working like he did, he is nearly impossible to guard.

Abdul-Malik Abu, 2014 PF, Xpressions: A teammate of Terrell’s on the AAU circuit, Abu is proving that this past spring was no fluke. He is a bouncy four man who can put the ball on the floor and hit shots from the perimeter. He also has a seemingly never-ending motor and is a fantastic competitor. Look for him to debut well in our post-July rankings.

Adrian Oliveira, 2013 PG, Mass Rivals: Oliveira was impressive in the early going on Friday. He got to the rim seemingly whenever he wanted and set his teammates up for easy baskets. He also finished well around the rim and showed great ball handling abilities throughout the day.  He says Robert Morris, Bryant, and Vermont have been on him as of late, look for more to get involved.

Dayshon Smith, 2013 PG, NY Lightning: Dayshon, or “Scooch” as he’s known in the recruiting world, put in yet another impressive days work at Elite 75. He got to the rim at will, often making would be defenders look silly in the process. He has fantastic speed and great ball handling abilities. He is a prototypical New York point guard  and is starting to remind me of a young Tu Holloway.

Jared Wilson-Frame, 2014 SG, CBC : Wilson-Frame is a big and powerful guard who exceled at slashing to the rim and finishing plays on Friday. He also showed off a nice stroke from the perimeter at times and had a couple of nice hustle plays during games where it seemed as though others where coasting. Miami has already offered him while Providence, UConn, Georgetown, and Notre Dame are all showing interest.

Andrew Chrabascz, 2013 PF, BABC: Throughout the 1-on-1 matchups to the last game Chrabascz was an absolute matchup nightmare. He used his quickness to dribble past bigger defenders and posted up smaller ones all day. He is another player who seems to have a never ending motor as well and is starting to remind some of Doug McDerrmott with the way he plays. He currently holds 31 offers from programs all around the nation.

Jarred Reuter, 2015 PF, New England Playaz: Reuter was possibly the best defender in the camp despite being one of the younger players invited. He is a hard working post player that uses his size in order to body his man and keep them out of the lane. He is a great rebounder at this point and showed above average passing ability. He currently holds offers from UConn, Providence, Boston College, and Indiana and is trying to set up a visit to UNC this July.

Kaleb Joseph, 2014 PG, Mass Rivals: Joseph first impressed way back in Feburary with Cushing Academy at the National Prep School Invitational. Since then he has seen his stock take off a bit. He is a big point guard at 6-foot-3 and has a quick first step. He is more of a scoring lead guard at this point but is making great strides in running a team.
