Madison, GA (Future150) -- Mississippi State was the first school to offer 2015 Morgan County (GA) point guard Tookie Brown early in the process. Since then, the 5-foot-11 scorer has been a huge priority for the Bulldogs.
"Coach [Rick] Ray has been there since day one. They showed me a lot of love when I went on my visit and made it feel like home," Brown told Future150.com.
Brown also had an offer from UAB, with tons of other high-major interest, like Miami, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson.
So why end things so early before AAU season comes along?
"I know there's no coach that is going to show me love like Coach Ray. "
Brown is gifted with speed, quickness, and body control on the court and will do an outstanding job of scoring at the next level. He is one of the best scorers the Southeast has to offer.
He is currently averaging 26 point for Morgan County on the year.
Brown is a four-star and ranked No. 91 in the 2015 Future150 rankings.
He joins Joseph Struggs and Dante Scott as 2015 commitments for the Bulldogs.
