Dallas, TX (Future150) -- The past month of recruiting for Texas A&M has been impactful with two top 50 nationally ranked players from the 2015 class committing to the program.
Currently ranked #36 by Future150, Tyler Davis is a problem in the post. Using an array of moves with up-and-unders, right and left hook shots, and most preferably a drop-step to create space for a shot. He also has solid athleticism, although not great, and he is a very skilled post that is a handful to guard.
Ranked #42 by Future150, DJ Hogg is a great shooter and arguably the best shooter in his class. He excels when shooting off the dribble, as well as in catch-and-shoot situations when working off a ball screen. He will need to work on his ball-handling more so he can create his shot better especially since he will be a small forward in college, but he will definitely space the floor and give guards space to make plays.
Two underrated signings that bring excitement back into Aggie Basketball, this is an exciting time for Texas A&M. We watched them play this summer and we are excited to see how their games progress this season before going to college.
