Wichita, KS (Future150) -- One of the quickest guards on the EYBL circuit this season was MoKan Elite’s Lourawls Nairn, also known as “Tum Tum.”

At 5-foot-9, Tum Tum is small, but he is effective with his game because of his ability to push the ball and get easy baskets, along with pressuring opponents on defense.

Several notable schools took notice of his talents, but the Bahamas native has cut his list to three schools.

“I will take official visits to Indiana, Minnesota, and Oklahoma,” Nairn told Future150.com.

He will visit Oklahoma the weekend of Aug. 23-25, followed by Minnesota Aug. 29-31. Indiana will host him Sept. 20-21.

Nairn also broke down what he likes about each school:

Indiana: “I feel like Indiana recruited me really well. They have been there since my first year in the EYBL last season. Indiana also fits my style of play. They like to pressure the ball. And Coach [Tom] Crean is a great coach and he develops players.”

Minnesota: “Minnesota recently started recruiting me after Peach Jam. Coach [Richard] Pitino has been on me hard. He tells me they are going to play like his dad’s teams at Louisville. He wants it to be up-tempo. They are great people.”

Oklahoma: Oklahoma has been around the longest. They were my first offer. The coaching staff really sticks out. They have a great attitude with the program and I like it. They like to get up in people and play an up-tempo pace.”

If it isn’t obvious, Nairn is focused on fitting in with the style of play for the future. However, there are some other factors in his recruitment.

“I need a great relationship with the coach and his staff. Not only do I want to become a better basketball player, but I want to become a better man,” he explained. “Style of play will also be big. I want to push the ball up the court. I can’t be in a system that walks the ball up the court a lot.”

While most rising seniors have been frustrated with the recruiting process and have grown tired of it, Tum Tum is quick to point out that his recruitment hasn’t been too stressful.

“I have a good circle around me. They have helped me balance out my recruitment. I’m not sure when I will make my decision, but hopefully it will be after I take my visits. It will be the best fit for me.”
