Asheville, NC (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruitng class as they bow out of the tournament; because there's always next season.
The Asheville Bulldogs had another fantastic season in the Big South, and with a very young core group there is nothing but more success headed towards this squad.
The next step for the Big South Conference Tournament Champions will be adding two talented, young prospects in PG MaCio Teague, and SF Malik Smith. Teague will provide instant offense with his elite ability to score on all three levels. He will also be able to create plays with his fantastic handles, and high-motor on defense. Smith will be a versatile option on the wing. He may not have as big of an instant impact as Teague but he should carve out a nice role down the road.
Keep an eye on the Bulldogs heading forward as they could become a true Cinderella as they continue to gain experience and depth to their roster.
