Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruiting class as they bow out of the tournament; because theres' always next season.

St. Joe's got past Cincinnati in the first round and went on to give Oregon a bit of a scare before eventually falling short in the second round. What's the next step for the Hawks?

The Redhawks fans are certainly sad to see big time seniors DeAndre Bembry, Isaiah Miles, and Aaron Brown graduate. But the future doesn't look as dim with James Demery and Shavar Newkirk taking over major roles along with being under fantastic head coach Phil Martelli.

Speaking of Martelli, he reeled in a two man recruiting class that includes a three star shooting guard and a hybrid power forward.

SG Charlie Brown of St. Thomas More (PA) has elite size at 6'6 and 180 pounds. His ability to drain three pointers from DEEP behind the three point line, along with creating plays for his teammates off the dribble will help him earn major minutes as a freshman next season.

PF Gerald Blount of Pomfret, Connecticut will be another welcolmed addition but not as much for his scoring. Blount can run the floor very well for his position and can finish strong around the rim. His rebounding skills is what should help him earn most of his time during his first few seasons.

Obviously the Redhawks will regress a bit next season after losing so much talent, but it's hard to see Coach Martelli letting his team start to go into a downward spiral. Expect to the St. Joe's back on the map sooner rather than later.
