Dayton, OH (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruitng class as they bow out of the tournament; because there's always next season.
Southern has been the class of the SWAC alongside Texas Southern, as the two programs have met in every one of the past four conference title games. Head Coach Roman Banks has done a great job of leading this group, and although Adrian Nelson will graduate this year, there is no reason to think that Southern is going anywhere.
The Jaguars have done well in the JuCo ranks before and look to have done well again in landing Trinity Valley's Josh Robinson. The 6-foot-5 wing has done a little bit of everything this season. An athletic guard with good vision (over 3 assists a game), Robinson will be a tough matchup in the SWAC.
The returning roster looks to be pretty solid and the Jaguars may have a budding star in Future150 Alum Jared Sam . Look for them to be a the top of the SWAC again next season.
