Brookings, SD (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruiting class as they bow out of the tournament; because there's always next season.

South Dakota State made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the past four years and pushed Maryland to the brink in the first round ultimately falling short. So what's the next step for the Jack Rabbits?

SDSU loses four seniors to graduation but returns freshman sensation Mike Daum who led the Jack Rabbits in scoring this season at just over fifteen points per game. Along with sophomore Reed Tellinghuisen who has carved out a nice role.

Scott Nagy only nabbed one recruit for the 2016 class in big man Loudon Love-Vollbrecht. At 6'8 and 225 pounds he should be able to provide instant help on the glass and interior defense. He shouldn't be relied on to score much thorughout his first few seasons, but could be a solid double-double threat as he gets accustomed to the D1 level.

Keep your eyes on the Jack Rabbits as they could be dancing for the next few years to come with some very talented youth on their roster.
