Ames, IA (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruiting class as they bow out of the tournament; because theres' always next season.

Iowa State couldn't handle Virginia in the Sweet 16, and now they're headed home. What's the next step for the Cyclones?

After losing big time production from Georges NiangAbdel Nader, and Jameel McKay the Cyclones will look for Future150 Alum Monte Morris, along with Matt Thomas, and Deonte Burton for leadership next season. But what fresh prospects does Coach Prohm have coming in?

Enter Jakolby LongCameron Lard, and Solomon YoungLong is a two guard out of Oklahoma that has tremendous size and strength. He loves to score off pull up jumpers, whether it is mid-range or the deep ball.

The other two prospects come in the frontcourt. Lard is a four man that is a beast on the glass. His footwork in the post is nice but he will need a little more polish if he wants to be a go to scorer on the block.

The final piece of this class comes from California native Solomon Young. Young is a unique prospect as he doesn't have ideal size at 6'7 to play in the frontcourt. Yet he uses his athleticism and high motor to dominate on the boards and sky for putbank dunks and alley-oops.

All three of the newcomers should be able to make decent contributions as the Cyclones will look to contend in the Big 12 once again next season.
