Worcester, MA (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruiting class as they bow out of the tournament; because there's always next season.
Holy Cross had one of the best stories of the month when they won four road games to make it to the tournament. That feat was even more impressive when you consider the fact that Holy Cross hadn't won a road game all season.
Their regular season likely won't see them go winless on the road next year, as they have a talented class joining them. Four seniors will depart but promising juniors Malachi Alexander and Robert Champion will be ready to step up.
Tyrone Cohen is argubaly the most highly regarded of the three 2016 commits, as he is a 6-foot-6 wing who shoots the ball very well and grabs rebounds when he's engaged. Sweedish guard Clayton Le Sann had a decent showing in his lone seasson in the states. At 6-foot-4, he has the tools to play either position and could be a major matchup issue in the Patriot league. Finally, Jack Stevens is a talented big man who's 6-foot-10 frame will be more than welcome next season. His rebounding and presence in the lane will be a difference maker for the Crusaders.
While they were underdogs in the Patriot this season, this group won't sneak up on anyone next season. Look for them to be picked higher up in the league polls at the start of next season.
