Boulder, CO (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruitng class as they bow out of the tournament; because there's always next season.

Colorado just took a tough loss to a hot UConn squad, which isn't surprising since it's March. Even though the Buffs are losing one of the best seniors in the country in Josh Scott, they could be back in the big dance next season due to a solid core returning on top of a decent three man recruiting class.

Heading up the three man class is SG Bryce Peters of Damien (CA). Peters has a very smooth mid-range game off the catch and dribble. He possesses good size for a two guard standing at 6'4, and weighing nearly 200 pounds. His good size also allows him to finish through contact with ease when slashing the lane.

Looking into the frontcourt the Buffaloes add F/C Dallas Walton out of Arvada, Colorado. Walton is a legit seven footer with amazing strength. Walton is still mostly a raw prospect that lives off of offensive rebounds and put backs around the basket. If Walton can develop a few go-to moves around the basket and a mid-range jumper he could develop into a special post player.

The last piece of the puzzle in this class is SG Deleon Brown out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Like Peters, Brown has good size for a shooting guard but isn't as polished on the offensive end as his future teammate. Brown has a super quick release on his jumper, and is capable of draining trey balls from way behind the line.

Look for the Buffs to be in the thick of the PAC-12 race yet again next season, and it wouldn't be surprising to see them dancing in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
