Nashville, TN (Future150) -- The class of 2017 have officially began their high school basketball careers. With the change from middle school basketball to high school basketball, we will see several changes in prospects over the coming years.

As it stands right now, there are some extremely talented prospects who look to be national forces for years to come.

One prospect in particular who stood out to Future150 staff over the summer was Miller Grove High School (GA) incoming freshman Terrell Coleman.

The talented 6-foot-5 wing is an explosive athlete who has an impressive build. He loves to attack the basket where he can finish at the rim and draw contact in the process.

While his jump shot is still a work in progress, there's no denying his potential, which is exactly why he rose considerably in our latest rankings update. He now sits just outside the top 10, sliding in at #13 in the country.

Here is how the top five prospects in the country look as it stands right now...

1.) Cody Riley - A physical specimen with a grown-man game. He has the ability to play four positions on the floor. Still ahead of his peers at this point.

2.) Jarred Vanderbilt - The 6'6" wing is a smooth operator who can score the basketball on all three levels. His game screams "upside"!

3.) Wendell Carter Jr. The 6'8" big man is a shot-blocking machine with skills to play center, power forward, and even some small forward if necessary.

4.) M.J. Walker - The 6'4" wing played 16U ball with the Atlanta Xpress this past summer...and started. Power wing wired to score.

5.) D.J. Harvey - The 6'5" wing will play at famed DeMatha Catholic this year and beyond. Expect a big career from the Alabama native.

Yall need to come and see Bryce Parks a rising freshman at Dutchtown Highschool . He averages well over 20 points per game and he has a sick crossover.

Charles Hartfield & Winceton Edwards Are Both Class Of 2017 Standouts At Oak Grove High With 6’3 Charles Hartfield Averging 12.0 Points per Game & 5’9 Winceton Edwards Averaging 18.0 per Game I Really Think They Should Be Ranked
