Allentown, PA (Future150) -- The 17U division was an intriguing one this past weekend thanks to a number of closely contested games. Ultimately, it was Team Final Red who came out on top and kept the title in Allentown. A number of players turned in impressive individual performance as well. Read on to see who stood out:

Jamal Anderson, 2018 PG, NJ Bulldogs: The powerfully built tank of a point guard was one of the most impressive scorers that we viewed all weekend at Northeast Main Event. He was able to get baskets at will and was very impressive as as scorer, whether he was doing it while slashing to the rim or shooting from the perimeter.

Atakan Sahinkaya, 2018 SF, Team Final Red: An athletic slashing wing, Sahinkaya wowed the Future150 staff and fans alike with a number of athletic dunks throughout the weekend. He has very good size for the perimeter and looks to have a good shooting stroke as well. He will need to put on a bit more muscle, but the future is bright for the Team Final Red wing.

Amadeus Cannon, 2018 PF, Lehigh Valley Renegades: Cannon is a powerfully built big man who did a good job of grabbing rebounds and either finishing at the rim or finding his teammates on the perimeter. At 6-foot-4, he is undersized for the position, but made up for it with his energy and effort.

Yagi Selcuk, 2018 CF, Team Final Red: An intriguing forward, Selcuk has the ability to play as a post or out on the wing. With a good build and standing at 6-foot-7, he was at his best when attacking from the high post and using his quickness to beat his man to the rim. He is a good rebounder and skilled forward who is going to draw interest from a number of different programs.

Nate Dougherty, 2019 SG, Lehigh Valley Renegades: The sophomore shooting guard impressed us with his 3-point shooting ability at Northeast Main Event. He put together a solid weekend of shooting the basketball from the perimeter, and the Palmerton Area High School (PA) product looks primed to have a big junior season this winter.

Jamel Kearney, 2018 CF, Nx Level Basketball: A powerfully built combo forward, Kearney almost helped his team to the championship game thanks to his scoring. At 6-foot-6, 210 pounds he was able to take his man off the dribble and finish through contact. Kearney did like to float out onto the perimeter and had games where he knocked down a number of threes.

Deontae Crawford, 2018 CF, NJ Bulldogs: Crawford is wired to score and put points up on all three levels with relative ease this past weekend. At 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, he has the strength to finish through defenders at the rim and grab rebounds. An undersized combo forward, Crawford has clearly worked to improve his perimeter game and is one to keep an eye on moving forward.

Tyler Saint-Furcy, 2019 SF, Nx Level Basketball: Playing up this weekend, Saint-Furcy looked more than comfortable in the 17U division. The 6-foot-4 wing did a good job of slashing to the rim and knocked down a few threes throughout the weekend as well. While he has yet to pick up his first offer, there have been a handful of division one programs who have reached out. It wouldn't be surprising to see the first offer come in sooner rather than later.

Will Melson, 2018 G, Team Final Red: It's been a very good start to 2017 for the Bethlehem Catholic (PA) prospect, who closed his high school season in strong fashion, and has followed with a nice start to AAU season. While he's certainly able to run the point guard spot with ease, his ability to score off-the-ball is what really excites us for his projection going forward. Overall, an excellent weekend for the skilled guard.

Jalien Jamison, 2018 PG, Brooklyn Kings: A cat-quick point guard with good vision, Jamison looks like a very nice division two lead guard moving forward. He clearly understands the game and knows how to get the defense to move for him to either attack or find an open teammate. He will be one top keep an eye on in the July live period.
