Baltimore, MD (Future150) -- Last week, Tariq Owens cut his list down to four schools despite the fact that major programs had begun to express interest. Those four schools were Temple, Miami, Ohio, and Cal State-Northridge.
After visiting Ohio this past weekend, Owens decided that he had seen all he needed to and popped for the Bobcats.
So what should Ohio fans expect from Owens? He should come in and be a rim protector right away, as he is one of the best shot blockers in the class of 2014. His offense is also improving, and he can stretch defenses with his shooting ability.
He will need to bulk up a bit, as he is only 180 pounds right now. Once he does add more muscle, expect him to pound defenders inside as well as use his speed to get to the rim.
Ohio fans, get excited, because you just landed an impact four year player.
