Indianapolis, IN (Future150) -- 2018 SG Myja White of Brebeuf Jesuit Prep (IN) has had a great summer and now he's starting to see his hard work pay off.
The 6'1" guard has picked up offers from Morehead State, Navy, and Western Illinois recently, and that list will probably continue to grow as schools like Ball State, East Carolina, Furman, and UT-Chattanooga have been showing continued interest in him.
This heat up in White's recruitment didn't just come out of no where, this young man had a great summer on the Adidas Gauntlet running with the EG10 All-Stars.
"My shooting, and really being able to work up the floor with the ball in my hand," White said when asked about why he thinks his recruitment has heated up/why his game will translate at the next level.
Even though he has seen his recruitment take off, he still wants to make improvements and fill in the remaining gaps in his game as he heads into his final year of high school.
"I want to become more of a combo guard," White said. "I'm more of a shooter, but when the game is tight I love to take over!"
While there is no doubt he is very thankful for the schools who have offered him so far, White, like any other recruit, has some schools in mind that he would love to pick up an offer from and be able to have the oppurtunity to play for one day.
"My dream school is Wake Forest," White said when asked about which schools he'd like to see recruit him. "And I would like to get offers from (Wake), East Carolina, and Elon."
Don't be surprised to see White continue to blossom and become a late-blooming mid-major/fringe high-major recruit. His college recruitment journey just officially started, and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down anytime soon.
Stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track White's recruitment throughout his upcoming senior year.
