Oklahoma City, OK (Future150) -- A week after landing a high-powered scoring threat in Detrick Mostella, Oklahoma State's Travis Ford made another big splash on the recruiting trail.
Friday afternoon, Stevie Clark, a 5-foot-10 point guard out of Douglass High School, elected to stay in-state and play for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
"I can't be more excited about playing in the state where it all started for me," Clark told Future150.com. "I'm an Oklahoma kid given the opportunity to make a difference at the collegiate level. My family sharing this experience with me is a blessing."
It was thought that the stellar point guard may pull the trigger and commit during a visit in the fall, but Clark held out to take other visits, including UCLA and Baylor.
When it came down to things, Clark knew Travis Ford's loyalty reigned above the rest.
"Loyalty! Coach Ford did a lot of recruiting me by himself. That means a lot," Clark responded when asked about his decision to choose the Cowboys.
Clark joins Mostella, Leyton Hammonds, Gary Gaskins, and Jeffrey Carroll.
He is a three-star according to Future150.com and comes in the 2013 Future150 Rankings at No. 102.
