Hampton, VA (Future150) -- Stanford Robinson is one of the top wings in the country, and the top programs are taking notice. While he was hurt during his high school season, Robinson has been able to show how talented he is while playing with Team Takeover on the AAU circuit. A 6-foot-4 shooting guard, Robinson has a smooth stroke that extends to the three point line. The lefty can also put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He continues to get better as he gets back to 100% and it seems that his best basketball is ahead of him.

With the increased hype, one would think that Robinson might hold off on making a decision in order to let more schools get involved. After a visit to Indiana on this past Monday he decided to go ahead and commit to Tom Crean and the Hoosiers.

It is worth noting that IU's newest assitant, Kenny Johnson, was the one who helped recruit Robinson to Paul VI. The relationship between the two seemed to be a major factor in his recruitment and in the end might have been the deciding factor. Robinson had admitted before that he was big on Villanova as well so the Wildcats seemed to be the runner up here. Either way, Crean landed himself a talented guard who should help to further IU's recent success.
