Paintsville, KY (Future150) -- After an unofficial visit to Marshall on Wednesday, 2014 Johnson Central (Kent.) power forward Shane Hall knew it was the right place for him.
Several factors lead to his commitment. In the end, they all came together to offer the entire package.
"Marshall is close to home," Hall told Future150.com. "I liked the campus. It felt like a nice fit for me."
"I really like the coaches, and I think the team is improving."
Hall averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds last season en route to leading his team to KHSAA Sweet 16. He hopes to bring both of those attributes to Marshall in the future/
"I'm hoping to bring what I have always brought to my teams: scoring, rebounding, and blocking shots," he explained.
Hall considered many other schools, but Northern Kentucky was the program that was considered in contention with the Thundering Herd.
Now, the senior's attention shifts to the upcoming high school season. As expected, he hopes to lead Johnson Central to the state playoffs.
"I'm really close with my teammates. We should win some games at state."
Hall is a three-star recruit according to Future150.
