North Charleston, SC (Future150) -- With the senior class set to embark on their final season at the high school level, it's safe to say that the majority of the most talented high school prospects have already been discovered nationally.
However, one power forward who is still flying under the radar in his senior year is North Charleston, South Carolina power forward and Future150 Camp alum Seth McKelvey.
The 6'7", 250-pound big man is using a strong fall season in hopes of taking his recruitment to the next level. A three-time Future150 Camp All-Star, he showcased his skills to our staff in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville and is proving that he is vastly underrated on the national level.
While he is hearing from Radford, Coastal Carolina, and South Carolina Upstate, many other division one programs should start taking notice of him with a big senior season at R.B. Stall High School.
"I like to compare my game to Brandon Bass of the Boston Celtics", he told me after the Future150 National Camp. The comparison is a very good one. Both are finesse player's who use long arms, athleticism, and solid post moves to succeed in the low block.
Seth loves to run the floor, has a beautiful left hook shot on the block, and is a rebounding machine.
After a marginal junior season in which he missed eight games, he is ready to set the South Carolina Lowcountry on fire with a powerful senior season.
"South Carolina is a football state, but I'm ready to show people that North Charleston has basketball talent too."
