Memphis, TN (Future150) -- Jalen Crutcher is a class of 2017 PG that runs with the Memphis Magic on the AAU circuit. He officially holds offers from Cal State Bakersfield, Chattanooga, and UMass. Lately, Crutcher has really been working on his game and the results are starting to pay off.

"I've been working with my coach almost every day now, working on getting stronger," Crutcher said. "My goal is to be able to go to any college I want, and hopefully make it to the NBA."

The recruitment situation has certainly been heating up for Crutcher lately with a recent offer from Chattanooga and a few SEC schools among others starting to pursue him.

"Recruitment has been going good, I've been talking to Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Southeast Missouri State," Crutcher said. "Ole Miss has been sending me a lot of mail and I've been talking with Arkansas's assistant coach."

Even though the increased recruitment is something Crutcher appreciates, he still isn't satisfied and wants to see other schools to start pursuing him before the AAU season is over.

"I'm hoping to continue to do good the rest of the summer and get some ACC schools on my radar," Crutcher said. "Then I will make some visits after the AAU season is over."

Crutcher's overall intangibles and skill set could easily translate to a high major conference like the ACC, or SEC. He has good size at 6'3 and has elite ball-handling skills that allows him to make plenty of plays for himself and his teammates. He has a solid jumper and is a tough on-ball defender. His biggest improvement he will need to make heading forward is just getting stronger and getting better at finishing through contact when he slashes the lane.

Crutcher's recruitment process should be very interesting heading forward as he continues to make strides towards being an elite playmaker that defense's just can't stay infront of.

Continue to stay locked in with Future150 as we track his development and recruitment the rest of the AAU season.
