Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- Philadelphia has long been known as a hotbed for hoops talent. Guys like Kobe Bryant, Richard Hamilton, and Dion Waiters have called the area home at some point in their lives.

The city is much more than star players though. It has been incredibly deep in talent and that trend seems as it will continue for the foreseeable future.

One of the better players in the area is Imhotep guard Sean Lloyd. After recently transferring from The Haverford School (PA), he decided that Imhotep would be best for him.

Despite being at a new school, Lloyd figures to be a nice piece and impact player for Imhotep.

He is a talented wing that excels at slashing to the wing or find his teammates for open looks. His ability to see the floor is great and may allow him to play a point guard/forward role at times.

Standing at 6-foot-5, he is a bit of a tweener. His handle isn't quite good enough to play point guard and he has the toughness to play in the front court. Simply put, he is a playmaker that will help a team win games.

During an AAU game against Sports U this summer, he scored 25 points while grabbing 7 rebounds and handing out 6 assists. That's an impressive stat line against a quality team.

While he may not have a set position, one thing is clear: he is a heck of a basketball player. He has already shown enough to draw scholarship offers from Drexel, St. Joe's, and Penn State. Rutgers, Villanova, and Syracuse are schools Lloyd mentioned had been in contact with him as of this summer.

He has a college ready body and a winning mentality with plenty of room for growth in his game. Don't be surprised when Sean Lloyd blows up this high school season.
