Los Angeles, CA (Future150) -- Over the next few weeks, 2013 combo guard Darin Johnson of Play Hard Play Smart (CA) will be taking a few unofficial visits, in hopes of finding the place he will attend college.

Johnson will visit USC Wednesday and Pepperdine Thursday, followed by trips to Washington State and Gonzaga the next week.

After these visits, he hopes to have his list down to "about 9 or 10 schools."

During this time, he is still open to all schools, especially from the East coast. However, is there already a school sticking out for him?

"Colorado is one of my top schools right now," he said. "I believe they are going to be a top Pac-12 school soon."

Tad Boyle has the Buffaloes roaming in the right direction, and the main reason for that is his recent success with combo guards. This could be a big factor for Johnson, as he is a proficient guard, capable of playing both the 1 and the 2.

Johnson is currently ranked No. 79 overall in the Future150 Class of 2013 rankings.
