Orlando, FL (Future150) -- Sam Singer has cut his list down; a lot. After picking up interest and offers from what seemed like a high major program every day since the Spring live period, Singer has decided to make his list much more manageable.
Harvard, Stanford, Davidson, Michigan, Kansas State, North Carolina State, California, Richmond, USC, Penn State, and Nebraska make up Sam's new list of programs. Singer is a 6-foot-5 combo guard who has no problem running a team and playing point guard. In addition he is a great shooter, and while he isn't overly athletic, he finds ways to get into the lane and score it.
Singer maintains that he has no leaders to this point. He is going to go through the process and really compare the schools in order to find the best fit. So what is he looking for in a program?
"It's high major ball with academics. That's where I'm looking. There are pros everywhere and great coaches on my list. If I can play after college I'll have had good teachers." He said. In a time where too many kids get caught up on school names rather than the best fit for them, it is refreshing to see the approach Singer is taking. There's no doubt he will be successful in college and has a bright future ahead of him.
