Springfield, MA (Future150) -- The New Jersey race for The Tournament of Champions is going to be an interesting one this year. With teams like Hudson Catholic, The Patrick School, and St. Anthony's all boasting talented rosters, it appears things are up for grabs. Roselle Catholic is one of the more talented teams in the state, and the emergence of a sophomore point guard has played a big part of that.

Josh Pierre-Louis may only be in his first season at Roselle, but has made a big impact. His ability to play point has allowed his older brother and Temple commit, Nate Pierre-Louis to slide over to shooting guard.

"He's a goofball, we've been playing together since I was two or three years old. I'm going to miss having him around next year," he said of his older brother.

At 6-foot-1, the younger brother may not be too far behind on the recruitment front; and there could be potential of the two either playing together or against each other in the future. Josh sees the floor very well and has blinding end-to-end speed. Because of that, a few high-majors are already getting involved.

Seton Hall has offered, with Rutgers and Syracuse both showing early interest in the Roselle Catholic floor general as well. The smart money says that Temple will likely get involved at some point given the ties to the program.

Playing with Sports U on the UAA circuit, Pierre-Louis could be one of the breakout players this spring. His speed is a huge weapon and will likely draw plenty of interest throughout the AAU season.
