Minneapolis, MN (Future150) -- It's decision day for the nations #39 prospect in the 2014 class, power forward Reid Travis of De La Salle (MN).
The 6-foot-7 workhorse forward will be making his decision at 3:30 p.m. (CST), and it appears it is now a two horse race for his services.
Word out of Minnesota this morning is that Duke is no longer in the running for Travis, leaving Minnesota and Stanford in the mix for the forward.
As it stands right now, the Golden Gophers have been at the forefront of his recruitment for a while now, and the "close to home" factor is one of the major reasons why.
That being said, I've also heard reports saying that Stanford is in very good position with Reid and his family, which will make today even more interesting.
As of right now, I'm predicting a Stanford commitment later today.
One thing is certain, as we get closer to an announcement, we are only finding more uncertainty. Welcome to the world of high school basketball recruiting!
