New York, NY (Future150) -- August is always an interesting time in the recruiting calender. While a lot of prospects are still recovering from the grind of the July live periods, they are also looking to cut their lists down and start the visit process.

Some players are already far along in the process and are ready to set their final lists, or even commit. The past few days has been wild in the recruitng world, with a number of high-profile recruits coming off the board. With that in mind, Future150 is here to catch you up:

Kentucky Double Dips:

Earlier this summer, Kentucky landed 2016 F Isaac Humpries (# 27), and he made it clear that he would try to enroll as a member of the 2015 class. On Thursday he did just that, just a day after 2016 F Sacha Killeya-Jones (# 108) committed to the Wildcats. Jones had a stellar summer and will make a major jump in our next rankings update. Calipari has done it again, adding a couple of talented pieces who will compliment each other.

Bruce Pearl Is Getting It Done:

Auburn scored big when they landed Pearl, and he's been paying dividends on the recruiting trail. After landing a fantastic 2015 class, he has his crown jewel in 2016. Mustapha Heron (# 15) is an elite wing prospect, and he committed to the Tigers last week. He can score on all three levels and is a bruising slasher and defender.

Banana-Clip Pulls The Trigger:

Terrance Ferguson (# 12) has long been one of the top members of the 2016 class thanks to his size, athleticism, and shooting ability. On Friday he made it clear that he will be bringing his talent to a program who sorely needs it in Alabama. Avery Johnson scored a massive get in landing T-Ferg and will now turn his sights on landing an impact big man.

Markelle Fultz Joins The Huskies:

It was a bit surprising when Markelle Fultz made it clear that he was going to commit on Friday night while participating at the Elite 24 three point contest, but the ultimate destination was not. Just a couple of weeks after visiting Washington and Arizona, it seemed clear that it would be one of the two. As it turns out, it was the Huskies who won out. Now, Fultz will have the chance to play under Lorenzo Romar, who has had great guards such as Nate Robinson and Brandon Roy.

Chris Mullin Lands Important Piece:

When Chris Mullin got the job at St. John's he made it clear that recruiting New York would be his main priority.  While he missed out on Cheick Diallo, he bounced back by landing 2016 F Kassoum YakweLike Humphries, he is working on joining the class of 2015, and all signs are pointing to that being the case, albeit as a partial qualifier. With a number of scholarships available in 2016, expect Mullin to make more waves.

Rutgers Adds Another Impact Guard?:

Eddie Jordan is in desperate need of landing high level talent. He has a couple of talented pieces coming as part of the 2015 class, and he added to his haul on Sunday. 2016 CG Kwe Parker  (# 81) committed to The Scarlet Knights over Wake Forest. An elite athlete, Parker has really just begun to put it all together over the past season, and it's clear that his best basketball is ahead of him.
