Las Vegas, NV (Future150) -- Rashad Vaughn will remain in Las Vegas for his college basketball career.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard announced his commitment to UNLV on Tuesday night on CBS Sports Network.
"Me and Coach [Dave] Rice kicked off a relationship from the jump and I just liked everything he was talking about. And I liked the blueprint that he set out for me. And me and my family, we just decided that this was the best for me,” Vaughn said of his decision.
Vaughn gives UNLV a potential top-five recruiting class, as he joins Dwayne Morgan and Goodluck Okonoboh.
He chose the Runnin' Rebels over Iowa State, along with the likes of North Carolina, Kentucky, and Kansas.
Vaughn is the No. 12 overall player in the 2014 Future150 rankings.
