Charlottesville, VA (Future150) -- It is difficult for some prospects to point out the schools that are sticking out or coming the hardest at times. For 2014 Huntington (W. Va.) wing Jalen Lindsey, it hasn’t been challenging for quite some time.
“Providence is coming the hardest right now,” Lindsey told Future150.com at the NBA Player’s Camp. “They have come to see me a lot and have been in contact a lot.”
Prior to traveling to Charlottesville for camp, the 6-foot-6 wing made the trip to the Northeast to see the Providence campus.
“My visit went really well. The coaches were great and they have a family-type relationship. There was a really good spirit on campus even though the students weren’t there. I just hung out with the players and enjoyed the campus.”
While the Friars are pursuing the hardest right now, Lindsey names no favorites. Florida, Louisville, Tennessee, LSU, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State are the schools involved the most right now, though.
There is nothing set in stone, but the future Huntington Prep product would like to see some more college campuses.
“I’m definitely going to take some more visits. I’m not sure who or when though.”
Lindsey comes in at No. 39 in the latest 2014 Future150 rankings.
