Dallas, TX (Future150) -- Proskills AAU performed very well on Saturday with good performances from 2017 guards Terrell Anderson and Chris Scaife.

Anderson is effective on the catch and shoot.  He also is great on the drive because he makes the right decisions.  Anderson needs to handle ball pressure better, but has the tools to be a high level point guard. Scaife has the physical tools you are looking for, for a guard. Standing at 6'4", Scaife has nice elevation on his jumper and uses his length to get rebounds offensively. The wing effects the game in many ways.

Deron Williams Elite 2019 Donovan Ollie and Carson Loya were the leaders of the pack that brought them a 2-0 record on Saturday. Ollie is an athletic forward that excels in transition. Once he gets the rebound he powers up the floor.  Loya is the point guard and he has a high Basketball IQ.  The freshman-to-be can set up his teammates within the offense and knows when to get his points.

The Titans 2020 played in the 8th grade division and Kylon Owens and Karson Stastny showed out on Saturday.

Owens, who is still raw on offense, showed a vast improvement in his post game.  Just three short weeks ago Owens was in need of post poise.  He feels a lot more comfortable with the ball in his hands in the post. Owens had a soft touch on his hook shot and kept the ball high to finish on a layup when he got a offensive rebound.

Stastny was lights out from three point land. At a previous event he struggled shooting over pressure defense.  Saturday this was simply not the case.  Everything was falling.  Stastny remains a pesky defender that deflects many passes.

Guard Dezmond Scott (2017) for the Hoyas is a blur on offense.  Fast with the ball, Scott had the best guard performance in the high school division. He knows when to take over and score at will...very scary in transition.

The Sonics 2017 guard Roy Broomfield had the best mid range pull-up jumper in the tournament. Broomfield's great touch shows up once he gets inside the three point line. He is also a good on-ball defender.

Arkansas Soldiers dominated with their big play from 2017's Jayvon Franklin and BJ Thompson. Both are freak athletes that dunk any opportunity they have. Thompson, who is more aggressive to the rim, has a great straight vertical jump, which helps him get above the rim off rebounds. Franklin has a good midrange jumper and has solid ball-handling abilities. Both players performed at a high level on Saturday.
