Houston, TX (Future150) -- Scouting high school basketball in the month of June can be hit or miss. The AAU circuits take a break and most of the premier players in the country attend college elite camps. This weekend, Future150 was back on the road and headed to the Primetime Southwest Regionals in Houston, Texas looking for unknown talent.

Saturday kicked off pool play and some of the games were blowouts, but there were some competitive ones as well. Players in five different age groups competed, and here are the ones that stood out to our staff on Saturday.

Matias Elejalde - CG, 2017, 365 Elite - Elejalde was one of the better all around players we saw on the weekend. He has a nice body, is strong and is a decent athlete as well. He plays with his head and it shows when he steps on the court. Smart, fundamental and shot maker would be three words that describe his game. His competitive nature makes him fun to watch, and it also gives his team that edge they need to compete at a high level. Solid performance on the weeekend.

Jalon Lathan- PG, 2016, 365 Elite - Lathan is an unsigned senior who should be getting more looks and is under the radar. His ability to score on all three levels make him a tough guard. He is super fast and his ball-handling skills make him almost impossible to stop when he's in attack mode. His court vision, rebounding and his uncanny ability to finish through contact make him someone college coaches would want on their team.

Tre Flowers- PG, 2017, College Station Regulators - All Flowers has done since we saw him last at the Future150 Memorial Day Classic, is get better. His shot has become more consistent, the three ball is falling more often, and his athleticism is allowing him to finish better at the rim. His quickness also makes him a good on-ball defender. He was the best overall rebounder we saw at the point guard position, so it was a huge weekend for Flowers. College coaches, don't sleep on this guy because if you do, you will be playing against him wondering why you didn't recruit him.

Kevin Dawson- SG, 2017, BC Flight - Dawson is an intriguing prospect who can play both wing positions. He is at his best when he is in the open floor and attacking the rim. Rebounding and playing defense are two of his best attributes. His wiry frame and athleticism allows him to score over much taller players.

Demond Demas- PF, 2020, Rimshakers: Demas is long, skinny and super athletic for a player his age. He was blocking shots both in the half-court and on the fast break. Rebounding is something he did at a high rate on both ends and makes it look easy due to his length. He made a living on offensive rebound put-backs. His upside is through the roof, especially if he grows 3-4 more inches.

Grant Jones- CF, 2019, Nike D1 Premier: Jones is 6-foot-8 inches tall and super long. He does all the small things when he's on the floor. Intangables such as blocking out, setting screens, and scoring from both inside and out are rare these days. He has them all. His mid-range jumper is his biggest asset in his offensive arsenal. As he continues to get stronger and his body starts to fill out, look for his game to take the next step in his development.

Isaiah Ivery- SG, 2018, Texas Inferno - Duncan is a pure sniper from long distance. During Saturday's second pool play game, he hit eight three-pointers and scored 28 points in a tough loss. At 6-foot, his wiry frame and long arms allow him to guard multiple positions on the floor. All I can say, is if you leave him open, he is going to make you pay. Solid shooting performance this past weekend.

Isaiah Duncan- PG, 2018, Modern Basketball - Duncan is a do-it-all type point guard who leads by example. He has a good first step and loves breaking the defense down off-the-dribble. His ability to get by his defender creates easy opportunities for his teammates. If you leave him open, he showed he can make the mid and long range jumper. As he gets stronger, look for his on ball defense and overall game to get better.

DeVante Oaka- PG, 2020, D1 Houston Hornets - Oaka is well- rounded point guard that plays hard on both ends of the ball and knows how to get everybody involved offensively in the half court. This past weekend, he showed his ability to use ball-screens and score in a varity of ways in the half court. One thing that stuck out the most is his offensive rebounding abilities.

Nick Booker- CF, 2020, D1 Houston Hornets - Booker has ability to strech the floor out and make plays happen, as well as shoot the ball on a high level. Over the weekend, he displayed the ability to get on the wing and handle the ball, as well as post-up and and score around the rim.

Camron Waites- PF, 2021, Nike D1 Premier - Waites nickname is "Baby Shaq", and he has that name for good reason, because he has the old school low-post, back-to-the-basket game. He is reguarded as one of the best young big men in Dallas in the 2021 class and it's easy to see why. At a young age, he knows how to use his body well in the paint in order to seal off defenders and score the ball in different ways. Because of his 6'7", 260-pound body frame, he is a nightmare in the post for opposing teams. Speaking to his coaches, they say he is still developing his game which is a good thing.

Nate Dominick- SF, 2020, Nike D1 Premier - Dominick is a well- rounded foward and plays his position at an elite level, while showing ability to score the ball in bunches. This past weekend, he showed that he can handle the ball in the open floor, as well as play in a half-court setting by using pick & pop and screen & rolls, which shows he is very knowledgeable about how to use different reads in the half court.

Ozzy Henry- PG, 2020, The Warriors -  Henry is a smooth and effective point guard that is a floor general. This past weekend, he helped lead his team to a couple of victories and his leadership abilites played a key role in the outcome of his teams wins. He is a vocal player that talks to his team on both ends. He also has good energy and has good leadership qualities for a player his age.

Nick Edwards- SG, 2020, The Warriors -  Edwards is scoring machine. This past weekend, he put on shooting displays in several games. He earned the nickname "Baby Marshall Henderson" from our staff, referring to the former scoring machine who played at Ole Miss. His ability to shoot the ball off-the-dribble and off the catch was out of this world this past weekend. He also showed that he is great using screens to set himself up, as well as setting up his teammates to score the ball.

Caleb Golden- CG, 2020, Nike D1 Premier - Golden is a guard that plays on and off the ball and knows how to keep himself in games. He does a lot of dirty work for his team and because of that, it keeps him on the floor. He proved to be a deadly player to play against due to his overall work ethic and hard work.
