Dallas, TX (Future150) -- Primetime Sports, AAU Super Regionals had highly competitive matchups and Future150 looks at the top players we liked on Sunday.
Connor Renrow- 2020, C - D1 Premier: Renrow looks to be 6’6 and probably taller than that. He is a raw prospect right now but he used his height and length to score inside. He needs to score more efficiently because it takes him two or sometimes three tries to make it but he is a solid big man that can become a big time player
Jared Avestruz- 2020, PG – D1- Premier: Avestruz has very quick handles and he sets his teammates up for open shots. He is fast in transition and he attacks defenders. His shot is solid, not consistent, but he finishes well inside due to his soft touch on floaters. Avestruz can play, and he has a high IQ for the game.
Bryce Kennedy- 2020, CF - NTX Crush: The 6’3 forward did a good job coming off the bench. His athleticism and versatility gave defenders fits. He scored better in the post but he can also dribble decently enough to get to the basket and score. Once he develops a more polished handle with the ball and a consistent jumper, he can be a next level prospect.
Brandon Banks- 2020, C - NTC Crush: Banks makes positive plays in the time he sees the court. He is tall and he is a good help-side defender. It seems he needs to get more comfortable with the offense but what the staff saw from him, he can really grow from it and become a good player down the stretch. His motor allows him to make plays, even the times when he doesn’t really know what to do.
Terrell Williams- 2019, PF-Mansfield Trojans: Williams is an athletic forward and he is the teammate of Walker Jackson who we covered on day one. He prefers to play in the post right now but he has a soft touch inside. He also crashes the glass hard which allows him to help his team get extra possessions.
Duncan Powell- 2021, SF – Basketball Means More (BMM): Powell is 6’4 and he is really skilled inside for someone his age. For the 2021 class, the staff will take a deeper look at him more going forward. He showed off his ball handling and athleticism on day two. Duncan has the tools to become a high major prospect in the future.
Dawson Minke- 2020, PG – Xpress: The guard managed the game well in late scenarios. Minke has a fast release on his shot and he knows how to get in the lane and shoot floaters. He had problems going against bigger guards on defense but he used his quickness to read the player and make steals.
