Houston, TX (Future150) -- Future150 was back on the road and in Texas once again at the PrimeTime Sports Clutch City Classic.  Everything is bigger in Texas, including the talent pool in the state.  A number of prospects had big weekends, especially in the younger age divisions.  Here are the top performers from Saturday’s play.

Tony Cruz- PG, 2019 (Warriors) Cruz has good size for the point guard position.  He showed a fantastic feel for the game as he created scoring opportunties for bot himself and his teammates.   He used a decent first step to get past his man and to the rim, where he used a handful of crafty moves to finish.  He has the ultimate green light, as his team goes as he does.

Kunja Shial- SG, 2018 (Cut The Nets) Shial is a relentless attacker in both transition and the fastbreak.  He was one of the better finishers off the dribble this past weekend and can knock down the open jumper when given space.  Shial also played with a chip on his shoulder that few others could match, which led to a lot of his success.

Daniel Still- PF, 2020 (Swag Elite) Still is a man-child on both the offensive and defensive glass, as  he made a living getting offensive rebounds and put backs.  At 6-foot-4, he knows how to use his body well to carve out space. He also plays hard on seemingly every play, which allows him to grab a ton of rebounds.

Brandon Gambel- CF, 2019 (Crossroads Kings) Gabel is a long, rangy player who uses his left hand very well.  He is a good athlete and can score from 15 feet and in.  His ability to block shots is uncanny as he has fantastic timing. Gambel is also a big time threat to score in transition.

Andrew Bauer- SG, 2021 (Cut The Nets) Bauer is pure scoring guard.  He thrives when he attacks the rim off the dribble and has uncanny finishing ability at the rim. Because he attacks the rim with such reckless abandon, Bauer finds himself at the foul line very frequently.

Preston Lawton- SG, 2018 (Peak Pacers) A do it all type player, Lawton can play multiple positions on the floor. He scores in bunches and is the driving force on his team. He brings value as a defensive stopper  and slasher. Coaches will love how hard he plays on both ends of the floor. He is a fundamental player who understands who he is and plays to his strengths; not his weaknesses.

Gabe Matturro- CG, 2018 (Swag Elite) Matturro was one of the top players Future150 saw all weekend thanks to his ability to put points up on all three levels. His basketball IQ is through the roof and he plays with a confidence that is fitting given the name of his team.

Dashaun White-SG, 2018 (Hoop Hunter) White is a big bodied guard who is athletic and loves attacking. He is a high energy player and excels on defense. His quickness and strength make him hard to guard in the open floor. He is a firey competitor who brought it in every game Future150 saw him in this past weekend.

Jeffery Cubbage- CG, 2018 (Katy Chaos) Cubbage has the skill set to play both guard positions and loves to score the rock. He was one of the better shooters on Saturday, knocking down 4 threes at crucial junctions of the game. As he gets stronger look for his game to take the next step.

Kenny Brown- PF, 2017 (Clear Lake Hoyas) Brown is a big bodied, strong and physical power forward who likes to use his size to punish his defender. He has good post moves and loves to use a baby hook with his right hand to score.  He runs the floor well and is an excellent rebounder at 6-foot-5 inches and 225 pounds.

Jack Moore- SF, 2018 (Mo Taylor Elite) Moore is a familiar face to Future150.  He went for yet another double-double and has proven to be very consistent this spring. His jump shot from 15 feet is developing and looks better each time he steps on the floor. He is a strong and tenacious wing who gives it his all every time he sets foot on the floor.

Kobie Flonory- CF, 2019 (Houston Kings) Flonory Is a solid combo forward who can score on the perimeter or on the low block. Right now, he is more comfortable scoring when he faces up and attacks, but he is also a very good rebounder and has decent touch around the rim.

Johnny Greene- PF, 2019 (Houston Kings): Greene is a long and very athletic big that plays hard on both ends of the floor. He presents a matchup problem thanks to his ability to face up and attack or in "pick-and-pop" situations. Defensively he is a rim protector and blocks any and everything that comes his way.

Ryan Ashley- PG, 2019 (Dynasty): Ashley is a high IQ point guard who is equally comfortable playing in transition or in the half court. He can get to the rim and showed that he can pick defenses apart in pick and roll sitauations. His vision and play making ability allowed him to create for teammates all weekend.

Dontre Williams- CF, 2018 (South LA Elite Gators): Williams had a great weekend and demonstrated that he is a versatile prospect. His ability to rebound the ball on both ends is at a very high level and he is a scoring threat as well. He displayed soft touch around the rim and showed he can face up a bit as well.

Isaiah Woods- SF, 2018 (South LA Elite Gators): Woods is an athletic wing prospect who can score in a number of ways. He can get to the rim and is equally comfortable knocking down mid-range jumpers or spotting up for three. His length and athleticism also make his a decent rebounder and versatile defender.
