Future150 attended the PrimeTime Sports 2016 EYB Classic in Dallas Texas. Our staff checked out a lot of teams and players and Future150 left impressed with the level of intensity these guys played with. A number of players planted themselves firmly on the radar with the performaces they turned in this weekend:

Dayton Booker, 2020 SG, Gulf Coast Magic:  Booker scored the ball from all three levels this weekend. He brought energy to his team with his open court steals and fast break ending blocks. His effort on defense opened up a lot of fast break lay ups.

Lawrence Calais, 2018 CG, DREAM: Calais used his crafty ball handling skills to weave in and out of the defense. Calais got to the basket and used his floater to score easy buckets throughout the weekend. He also shot the ball really well from mid-range and the three.

Lance Wright, 2017 PF, Texas Elite DJH5: Wright rebounded the ball exceptionally well on both sides of the floor this weekend. He blocked shots and played the passing lanes very well. Wright used his athleticism as an advantage over opponents.

James Moore, 2017 CF, Texas Elite: A strong, physical forward who showed no mercy all weekend,Moore is a tough player who plays hard and smart. He made it tough for opponents to guard him with his versatility; he scored in the post as well as on the perimeter.

Hunter Meyer, 2018 SG, Xpress Sports: Meyer guided his Xpress Hoops team to a championship this weekend with his true point guard skills and defensive ability. Hunter is a strong physical guard who shoots the ball well. He also stays poised and knows how to keep his team poised as well.

JT Brown, 2016 SG, HTC Elite: Brown is a guard that is tough to defend, he can beat his man off the dribble with his quick first step or he can create space with his quick crossover and knock down the jump shot. He displayed his playmaking ability as well as is scoring ability. Brown was definitely a top guard in this tournament.

Rene Valenzuela, 2018 CG, Dallas Hoyas: Valenzuela shot and distributed the ball really well. He looked for open teammates once he broke down the defense for easy points and open looks. Overall, he had a really solid weekend.

Drake Cooper, 2017 SG, WF Timberwolves: Cooper led his Wichita Falls team to a successful weekend. The way he broke down the defense and made the extra pass was impressive. Cooper passed up good shots for great shots. He used his size and strength to get wherever he wanted on the court. He scored from all three levels which made him even harder to guard.

Damien Buckley, 2017 CG, Dallas Mustangs: Buckley led his team all weekend long with his leadership skills and ability to get in the paint. He used his quickness and ball handling skills to break down defenders. Buckley sees the floor really well, he makes the right passes and plays at the right times.

Jadon Bly, 2018 CF, Suns: Bly is a strong forward who causes defensive mismatches with his ability to shoot the three, handle the ball and set his teammates up. Bly has a skill set most big men do not and presents big matchup problems for opposing forwards.
