Dallas, TX (Future150) -- On Friday, there were several new faces that emerged in Dallas. Future150 has the latest on which southern prospects shined the brightest.
Tamari Bolden, 2019 SF, Kingdom Knights: Bolden is a complete player that plays hard and plays his position the right way. After watching him put on a scoring display from all over the floor, he showed the ability to shoot the mid-range jumper consistently. He is also a very skilled forward that knows how to use his scoring ability to help open the floor up for his teammates.
Jakylin Kaiser, 2019 SF/PF, Arkansas Kings: Kaiser is a very athletic and skilled forward that has a lot of different things in his arsenal that he contributes to aide in his teams success. His inside- outside game gives him a lot of versatility and he was able to display his scoring ability. He had a couple times where he caught the ball on the wing and showed off a nice tw-dribble pull-up game.
D.J. Baptist, 2019 SG, TX Elite: Baptist is versatile player that has a mixture of size and skill, and that combination together is hard to contain. Today he had several games where he showed his ability to score off the dribble while utilizing ball screens, which he utilized in hard to guard situations.
Ben Elliot, 2019 PG, Armoured Elite Basketball: Elliot is a pass first, score second type of point guard. He displayed his ways to involve his teammates and help his team win games in the half court while using different ball screens. He has a change of speed that makes him a hard player to guard. He also has an extremely high basketball IQ, which helps him tremendously.
Alec Grandstaff, 2019 SG, Nike Team Texas: Grandstaff has a cannon on him with the way he shoots the ball in the half-court and in transition. He uses his footwork to his advantage to run guys off screens and gets himself open to knock down shots. He plays so well off the ball that his point guard just about knew where he would be in the half-court every time. Because he shoots the ball so well, It opens up lanes for his teammates to score the basketball, making him an even tougher prospect to play against.
