Dallas, TX (Future150) -- It was the play of 2021 forward Jaylon McDaniel that had the gym buzzing on Friday, and his upside has the Future150 staff extremely excited for the future. Here is more on him, and the rest of our standouts.

Jaylon McDaniel, 2021 SF/PF, Kansas Pray & Play (KS): The sky is the limit for the 6’4” combo forward, who has significant growing left to do in order to fill out his frame. The lefty is active around the rim, rebounds well on both ends, and blocks shots at a high rate. As it stands right now, he’s one of the elite prospects in the country based on his potential, and it’s scary to think about just how far this game can possibly take him.

Trey Alexander, 2021 PG/SG, AET Elite (OK): The 6’3” Oklahoma City native was dominant on Friday morning, showing off his offensive arsenal the entire game in a blowout victory. He’s equal parts scorer and facilitator, and is nowhere near done growing. The upside is undeniable for this young prospect.

Jaylon Dobbins, 2021 PF, Lubbock Canes (TX):  Dobbins was one of the better all around players in the paint we saw on Friday. He can score both inside and out. He runs the floor well and showed an ability to finish on the break. He's at his best when he posts up an opposing player on the low block and attacks them off-the-dribble.  He is really crafty around the rim, getting fouled several times and completing the and-one. You have to love how hard he plays at all times.

Griffin Datcher, 2021 SF, Houston Defenders (TX): With the addition of big man Deuce Fatheree, the 6’3” prospect was able to slide over to the wing and showcase his skills from the small forward spot. He was the leading scorer for the Defenders in their afternoon game, being unstoppable to contain when slashing to the rim. As he continues to improve his ball skills, he should see his stock rise in the south.

Jaiden Jones, 2021 C, Frisco Kings Elite (TX): Jones is a monster on both ends of the floor in the paint. He is an elite rebounder and knows how to use his 6-foot-4 inch frame to clear space when scoring. He runs the court well and is a solid on-ball defender. As his offensive game progresses, look for him to take the next step.

Daylan Jones, 2021 PG/SG, Kansas Pray & Play (KS): Sporting an advanced offensive skill set, the 6’2” combo guard is very hard to stop. He showcased his three-point shot, as well as a well-versed one-dribble, pull-up jumper from mid-range. He’s got a strong body for a rising eighth grader, and plays with a high basketball IQ as well.

K.J. Adams, 2021 SF/PF, ATX Knights (TX): Standing at 6’3” currently, the Austin product showed the ability to dominate on the inside, but also flashed ball skills and passing skills that should translate well to the wing positions in the future. At the current moment, he’s a dominant glass-cleaner and and inside scorer, but the perimeter upside is certainly there.

Devin Hartfield, 2021 PG, Lubbock Canes (TX): When you look up the term point guard in the dictionary, you will find Hartfield's picture. He knows how to run a team on both offense and defense. His approach is like having a coach on the floor, leading his teammates to victory.  When the game is on the line, you want the ball in his hands. He can score on all three levels and his court vision is what really makes him stand out.
