Memphis, TN (Future150) -- Josh Pastner has done it again. Since he has been the head coach at Memphis he has done a fantastic job of making sure the city's best talent stays home to play their college ball.
On Wednesday it was more of the same, as Top 100 SG Markel Crawford pulled the trigger for the Tigers. Crawford is a 6-foot-5 guard who can shoot it as well as score off the bounce. In addition he is a fantastic defender and plays very unselfishly, so don't be surprised to see him run the point for the Tigers at times.
This will undoubtedly put pressure on fellow Memphis natives Johnathan Williams III, Nick King, and JuJuan Johnson to all stay home and play for the Tigers as well. If Pastner can land those three on top of Crawford, he will have another top class in the country.
