Nashville, TN (Future150) -- In a matter of minutes, Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor set the high school basketball recruiting world ablaze Monday night.
Both top five prospects sent out matching tweets at the same time, announcing their intentions to commit at their respective high school's at 3:00 p.m. CST Friday afternoon.
Rumored to be a package deal for a while now, both prospects have whittled their schools lists down to Baylor, Duke, and Kansas.
Both have taken official visits to each of the three schools during the fall, but it has been rumored for a while that Jones will be picking Duke Friday.
Will Okafor join him in Durham? That remains to be seen. There has been some talk of the Jayhawks making a push over the past month, and his decision will come at the same time fellow Chicago prospect Cliff Alexander makes his decison at Curie High School (IL).
The 6-foot-8, 240-pound athletic freak will be picking between DePaul, Illinois, Kansas, and Memphis, with the Jayhawks and Fighting Illini looking like the frontrunners.
As it stands right now, I see Jones and Okafor picking the Blue Devils, which would make November 15th a historic day for the Duke program. Stay tuned the rest of the week as we get closer to the huge day in recruiting.
