Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Since taking the reins at Auburn, Tony Barbee and his staff have made it a point to recruit the state of Georgia extremely hard.
The Tigers pulled out great talents in Shaq Johnson and Jordan Price last year. Now they are looking to do the same again.
It looks like Auburn is keeping close tabs on 2013 forward Lamarcus White, who is attending prep school at Kingdom Prep (GA) this year.
Originally from Columbus, Georgia, White is a mere hour away from the Auburn campus.
“Auburn is probably recruiting me the hardest right now. I hear from them the most. Clemson and Georgia are also in-touch a lot.”
Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Wake Forest, and Tennessee Tech are some other schools pursuing White at this point.
The 6-foot-8 star doesn’t have a set timetable for a decision, but he does know what he wants for the future.
“I’m just going to go to the school that fits me the best. That’s all I’m looking at.”
